Acupuncture shown to be effective in helping headaches after a mild brain injury.

Headaches a very common after a mild brain injury. Pain medications can work but don’t always and they can have side effects. In this pilot study, they did acupuncture for 5 weeks after a mild brain injury to see if it could help with headaches. They found that not only was it safe but that, like we find in clinic, “acupuncture significantly reduced the number of headache days and headache pain intensity”
